The Chevra - Lag Ba'Omer

  • About

  • The Chevra is getting back together again!

Join us for another men’s event, Monday, May 4th, at 8:00PM, featuring all of the Chevra staples: smoked meat, whiskey, and cigars, as well as a special Lag Ba’Omer spread and bonfire.

Lag BaOmer, the 33rd day of the Omer count, is a festive day on the Jewish calendar that honors Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, author of the Zohar, who passed away on this day.

The chassidic masters explain that the final day of a righteous person’s earthly life marks the point at which all their deeds, teachings and work achieve their culminating perfection and the zenith of their impact upon our lives. Therefore, each Lag BaOmer, we celebrate Rabbi Shimon’s life and the revelation of the esoteric soul of Torah.

Join us as we explore just a drop of the mystical and esoteric dimensions of the Torah, and enjoy the festival of Lag Ba’Omer!

This event is for men ages 18+ and free to attend.
